The administrative centre of the Primorsky Krai will host the 8th Vladivostok Biennale of Visual Arts. Yamamoto Reji, also known as Kodamaya, “the Poet of the Soul”, a Japanese street artist, is coming to rock the place.
Yamamoto paints with Chinese ink in the streets of the Land of the Rising Sun accompanied by music, adding some impromptu poetry to the images. The artist aims to convey the mood of a passerby by means of his imagery and calligraphy.
The art festival will be held from August 21st to September 1st, featuring over sixty authors from around the world.
