Last Sunday a master class on Japanese calligraphy was held at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. Yekaterina Nazarova, participant of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy project and specialist in hieroglyphic writing made a performance in front of the audience.
More than 50 people got together to listen to the one hour and a half long seminar by the master of Japanese calligraphy and participate in her interactive master class. The visitors learned about specifics of one of the most popular Japanese fine arts, got to perfect their skills in hieroglyphic writing and moreover, learned a few phrases in Japanese.
Calligraphy is frozen poetry.
