Group Painting Exhibition Opens at Rawalpindi Arts Council

Rawalpindi Arts Council (Pakistan) organized a Group Painting Exhibition Tuesday in which 21 students from painting and calligraphy class of RAC participated.

The students displayed their skills, techniques and themes on more than 100 paintings. The chief guest was renowned artist Tasneem Abbas who inaugurated the exhibition. The paintings included landscapes, historical buildings, pictures of famous personalities, and calligraphy. The artists used pencil and oil colour as medium of painting.

Tasneem Abbas said that truthfulness and love for art could be felt in the work of students. She said that with the passage of time further maturity would be exhibited in their work. Resident Director Waqar Ahmed said that Rawalpindi Arts Council will continue its struggle for the promotion of art and culture of their country.
