On December 26, 2018, the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy received a gift from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation – a New Year card for the Russian citizens, hand made by Mr. Ambassador himself. The greeting tradition between Chinese and Russian peoples is long rooted, yet suspended for a long time in the years of the cultural revolution. Its revival today indicates that the two countries intend to continue their joint development as a part of the already proposed strategy One Belt, One Road.
Mr. Li Hui's greeting card will take a rightful place in the next exhibition of New Year handmade cards, which will open in the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy on December 28, 2018.
Calligraphy is the flower of a man′ s soul.
