Graduation of the autumn calligraphy courses

Last week the National School of Calligraphy saw the final classes of the Basic, Pointed pen and Lettering courses.

It feels as if it was only a few days ago that the students held their pens for the first time – yet here they are, showing their graduation works to the teacher Artyom Lebedev, hardly believing that they’ve learned so much over the last 10 weeks. Discussion of the works lasted a long time, with Artyom discussing every piece in detail, pointing out the best parts and commenting weaker points to pay attention to in the future. And indeed, many of the students have expressed willingness to continue practicing calligraphy and have already enrolled for our next courses. The classes culminated with the distribution of personal certificates.

We are always happy to see new or old students in our school, and we’d like to take this opportunity to remind you that in December, the following courses will start in the School: the Basic course, lettering, a course on historical calligraphy (Slavic and Eastern-European scripts), the pointed pen course.
