German calligraphers agree to participate in International Exhibition of Calligraphy

On June 3^rd, 2008, the International Exhibition of Calligraphy received support from new participants. Alexey Shaburov, General Manager of the project, and Valery Pilchin, Engineering Director of the project went to Regensburg to visit Hans Maierhofer in his studio.

During the meeting, Mr. Shaburov and the German calligraphers discussed important questions concerning the project; they also spoke about the potential participants of the calligraphic exhibition. Apart from Hans Meierhofer Andrea Wunderlich, also present at the meeting, expressed her desire to support the project. The calligraphic exhibition will soon have new interesting samples of European calligraphy.

We would like to remind you that Germany is not the only European country to participate in the International Exhibition of Calligraphy. Jean Larcher, a French calligraphy guru is going to conduct his master-classes in September.
