Franсophonie talk and concert of French and Belgian music

The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy will hold a classical music concert featuring Jean-Marie Leclair, Eugene Ysaye, violin sonatas and duos.

The talk will cover French and Belgian music and culture in an attempt to recreate the atmosphere and feel of Louis XV's era of French baroque, musicians’ court lifestyle, debonair and the culture of dancing as a special kind of language. We will also talk about early 20th century, multidimensional branches of art, global exhibitions in Paris, the Belgian crown, the violin school and much more.
