On May 18 the team of the expedition for private museums of Russia visited Ivanovo, which is home to the Museum of Soviet Car Industry. The museum puts on display Soviet cars from private collections, made between 1943 and the 1990s. Every vehicle here is special, with its own character and fate. The list of exhibits includes GAZ-67, GAZ-21, Volga, executive-class Chaykas and ZILs, all of them restored in the workshops of the former Avtoremzavod (currently Riat company).
Many experts and connoisseurs of vintage cars recognize the perfect quality of the restoration process. Any vehicle from the collection can be started to set out for a journey at any given moment.
When there are no words left, the meaning is still preserved.
