On 17 September 2023, an exhibition of calligraphy was held in Akhty village of the Republic of Dagestan. The works were presented in five forms of Naskh handwriting. The exhibition was attended by calligrapher Mirzoev Shirinbeg Gabibullakhovich and his students Sardarova Gulara Azizovna and Davudava Zumriyat Aslanovna.
Mirzoev Shirinbeg Gabibullakhovich
Born on 19 April 1981 in the village of Akhty, Akhtyrsky district, Republic of Dagestan. After finishing school he entered the higher Islamic institution in the city of Derbent.
After graduation in Derbent he became a student of the great calligrapher in Istanbul - Ali Khosrevoglu. Currently teaches in his village; director of madrasa, deputy imam, calligrapher.
He writes mainly on goatskin parchment, which he himself makes from goatskins.
For the largest part ill handwriting in the world is caused by hurry.
