Embassy gala reception to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China

On September 30, 2019, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Moscow organized a gala reception on behalf of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Russia, Mr. Zhang Hanhui, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China. The team of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy led by the Museum Director Alexey Shaburov, was invited to the event, where Shaburov had an informal meeting with the Ambassador and presented to him a unique figurine as a gift from the museum and a token of the recent “Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting” exhibition, held on September 20-22. Shaburov also met with the Cultural Advisor of the Chinese Embassy to Russia, Director of the China Cultural Centre in Moscow, Ms. Gong Jiajia, Deputy Chairman of the Federal State Duma, Ivan Melnikov, and Director of the Moscow office of Hainan Airlines, Mr. Zhang Te. This warm and friendly gala night in the embassy enabled the meeting of true friends and partners.
