Dymkovo Toys Museum celebrated the anniversary of its oldest craftswoman

One of the most memorable events of the past 2021 year was the anniversary of our oldest craftswoman Nina Petrovna Bornyakova. 80 years is no joke! More than 60 of them were dedicated to the work she loved — the Dymkovo Toy! The craftswoman’s personality, her fascinating stories, and original art made during her eventful life have repeatedly attracted journalists, cameramen, and photographs not only from Vyatka but even from the capital. We are grateful for their help in preserving the historical memory of the past and present of the craft.

The museum is a member of the Association of Private and People’s Museums of Russia.
