On March 29, 2019, Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, and Chairman of the Russian Association of Private Museums, visited a private museum in Hong Kong, Lyang Yi, which focuses on ancient Chinese furniture and interior design items. The museum is currently also putting on display a special exhibit of the Japanese culture and tobacco smoking traditions. Mr. Shaburov met with Lynn Fung, Director of the Museum, and took a tour of the exhibit accompanied by its spokesperson, Christie Ma. In response Alexey Shaburov told about the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy and his cooperation with the magazine Mir Muzeya, where he publishes exclusive articles and interviews about top private museums from all over the globe.
