Delegation of the Embassy of China appraised the level of preparation for the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition

On September 5 the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy was visited by the representatives of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China to Russia – Ms. Gong Jiajia, the Cultural Advisor, and Ms. Wang Rui, the 2nd Secretary of the Embassy, as well as the representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China – Ms. Su Ning, Department Head of the Department of Finance’s Financial Control Sector, Ms. Du Fang, the Deputy Head of the Culture Department, Ministry of Finance's Department for Science, Education and Culture, Ms. Xiang Feidanqing, the Deputy Head of Property Management in the Department of Finance, and Mr. Go Changzeng, the Inspector of the Department of Finance. Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov gave a personal tour to the guests to introduce calligraphy masterpieces created by renowned calligraphy artists.

Following the tour in the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, the guests visited exhibit hall 7a, which is being prepared for a large-scale event – the Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition. Appreciation of the project, which is designed to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between Russia and China, serves as a testament to its importance in strengthening of the cultural bond between the two countries.
