December workshops in the Museum

We are happy to announce new December workshops!

December 18 (Sunday) at 12.00 pm we’ll be holding the Season’s Greetings Card workshop by Yekaterina Orfanova.

• What: making, decorating and signing in copperplate a Happy New Year postcard.
• Who: Yekaterina Orfanova, designer, calligrapher
• When: 12.00 pm
• Duration: 2,5 hrs
• Instruments: supplied
• Price: 1,200 rub.
• What to bring: gold ink, postcard decorations (optionally)
• Participant level: any (including children aged 10+)

New Year festivities are coming and we all feel like sharing our best feelings and emotions with our nearest and dearest. We invite you to spend a Sunday afternoon creating a couple of handmade and hand signed greeting cards where you can put all your kindest wishes.

December 25 (Sunday) at 12.00 pm we’ll be holding the Brushpen Calligraphy workshop by Darina Biryulina.

• What: contemporary calligraphy with brushes and brushpen: getting to know the instruments, the techniques, the basic scripts
• Who: Darina Biryulina, graphic artist, designer, calligrapher, participant of the Calligraphy About Moscow project
• When: 01.00 pm
• Duration: 2,5 hrs
• Instruments: supplied
• Price: 950 rub.
• What to bring: your favourite colour ink, calligraphy liners, brushpens (optional)

Please note: The Museum will be closed for the state holidays from December 31, 2016 through January 9, 2017. However, there will be a chance for all calligraphy lovers to get inside the Museum over the winter holidays: we’ll be holding a crash course on pointed and broad pen on January 4 and 5, 2017!
