The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, a heart of the national fine writing community, demonstrates the works from diverse ethnic schools, delivers an educational mission, preserves the heritage and holds grand international events. In 2019 it will house The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting exhibition to celebrate the 70th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between China and Russia, and in September 2020 the Museum will hold its flagship project in Sokolniki Park – the 7th International Exhibition of Calligraphy that will welcome the connoisseurs of the rare art of fine writing from Russia and other countries.
In November 2018 The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy was added to the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators and certified as a tour operator services provider – all of the above will certainly enable even more convenient tours for the locals and guests of Moscow.
