The New Year air prevailed in the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy on December 28 as it gathered calligraphy fans willing to make an original gift for their friends and family – a bright handmade New Year card. Artem Lebedev, calligraphy artist, designer, a member of the National Union of Calligraphers of Russia, demonstrated the ways to handle pointed pen in order to create fine and unique greeting inscriptions, and share the New Year feel with the nearest and dearest using the handmade cards.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
