Quincy, USA, is hosting a solo exhibition of Lu Sen, a famous Chinese calligraphy artist. His masterpieces will be on display until February 28 at the Thomas Crane Public Library.
Born in a small village in Guangxi province, Mr. Lu has studied the art of calligraphy since 1985. His work integrates the ancient art of hieroglyphics and the skill of traditional Chinese calligraphy. Mr. Lu was hired as the executive vice president of The China International Painting and Calligraphy Art Research Institute, and founded the Amateur Calligraphy Training School. His work has won a variety of art awards and honors.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
