The Chinese Cultural Centre, Pravdy street, Moscow, opened an exhibition of books about calligraphy in the Celestial Empire on Tuesday, October 17, said the centre administration representative.
“Calligraphy is a national asset for the Chinese and an integral part of the global culture. The exhibition features the whole variety of styles with five key pillars: Zhuànshū, Lìshū, Xíngshū, Cǎoshū and Kǎishū”, commented Olga Rudakova, spokesperson of the Chinese Cultural Centre.
The exhibit will run admission free between 9.00 and 18.30 (break time between 12.30 and 15.00) on weekdays until November 13.
