Between May 17 and 20 the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy rolled out an exhibit at WANEXPO Festival, the most popular and attended event for future moms, young parents and their children. The exhibit grabbed the attention of many – and proved exciting to combine Festival and cultural experiences.
On May 19 the Museum's stand offered entertaining calligraphy workshops led by calligraphy artist, designer and trainer in the National School of Calligraphy, Ekaterina Orfanova. Engaging talk and amazing writing appealed even to the smallest visitors, while many parents enjoyed gaming exercises presented by Ekaterina, and practiced to take on the skills and methods for home lessons.
We look forward to seeing those who missed the workshop, in the Museum, and parents interested in calligraphy education for their children – in the National School of Calligraphy.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
