Calligraphy workshop to be held in Sakhalin Regional Research Library

On November 29th at 2.00 pm the Information center of international cooperation of the Sakhalin Regional Research Library will host a calligraphy workshop.

Japanese calligraphy is one of the most popular fine arts in Japan. Calligraphy works are valued as much as paintings. But, apart from artistic value, this kind of graphic art has deep philosophical meaning.

The workshop is organized in cooperation with the consulate general of Japan in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.
