Calligraphy workshop in Ingushetia

On September 15 the memorial complex dedicated to the victims of repressions in Nazran, Ingushetia, will see a philanthropy exhibition by Aysabel Zakoroeva to celebrate the anniversary of the Republic, says the Ministry of Culture Press Service.

According to Kavkaz Segodnya and press release, the artist and graduate of Repin Academy of Arts in Saint Petersburg will hold a free-for-all Arabic calligraphy workshop on day one.

All proceeds will be donated to treat children suffering from cerebral palsy.

Arabic calligraphy is the art based on the Arabic writing, which focuses on strict geometrical principles and sharp proportions.
