The priceless art pieces hand-woven in compliance with the best traditions of Arabic calligraphy will be demonstrated at the up-coming II International Exhibition of Calligraphy.
The works of this kind are usually created within several months. The master should have the highest professional skills not only in calligraphy, but in weaving as well. Our new participant, Nja Mahdaoui, a famous Tunisian artist, does meet all these requirements.
He exhibited his art works in many famous museums all over the world. Graduate of the Academy of Arts of Santa Andrea in Rome & of the Ecole du Louvre – he received a number of distinctions and national and international prizes, such as the “Grand Prix des Arts et des Lettres Tunisia”. His postgraduate studies led him to Cite Internationale des Arts, where he received his scholarship from Tunisian government. He takes part in group artistic exhibitions: Biennial exhibitions, museums and galleries. Nja Mahdaoui is a member of the International Jury of the Arts Prize of UNESCO.
One more art piece – an aircraft decorated with Arabic script by Nja Mahdaoui– is planned to be demonstrated at the next air show in Zhukovsky.
