Calligraphy Helps Share a Piece of Your Heart with the World Around You

Do you feel that you have a calligrapher’s or an artist’s creative potential, but do not know how to tell others about yourself? Or maybe you just want to congratulate anyone on the coming New Year? Then, you should try postcrossing — a fashionable hobby for all lovers of travel and dreams.

The Postcrossing Project is brought to you by Paulo from Portugal and his team keen on sending and receiving postcards. Thanks to them, a simple idea has been transformed into a great project that creates millions of smiles every day. The project’s goal is to allow people to receive postcards from all over the world! The main idea is that if you send a postcard, you will receive at least one back from a random Postcrosser from somewhere in the world. The element of surprise of receiving postcards from different places of the world (many of which you probably have never heard of) can turn your mailbox into a box of surprises — and who wouldn't like that?

Too many artists and calligraphers use postcrossing when they have free time because it is a great opportunity to stretch hands and… just to please someone! Among the printing cards which are usually sent we can find real treasures claiming to be the works of art that can turn your mailbox into a magic box full of precious artworks.

And how does it work? Try it yourself! Request to send a postcard, choose a postcard, write something nice on it along with the assigned Postcard ID, and mail it to the address you were given. Wait a little. And in a few days you will receive your first postcard! Believe me, there can be no doubt it will make you a bit happier every time.

Well, on the 11th of December we are to show you some ways to decorate postcards with ordinary strokes and turn them into real works of art!
