Barnaul residents are offered to attend master classes in Chinese and Japanese calligraphy, yoga and the Asian suit show. All these and other events will take place within the framework of Asia: The Image Is Revealing international exhibition closing.

For almost a month the residents of the city of Barnaul were able to examine works dedicated to «a whole different world», as the artists themselves proclaim Asia. Mongolia, China, India, Tibet, Central Asia, Japan, Altai Mountains got presented to the audience through paintings, graphics, photographs and installations.

The exhibition’s organizers (the Union of Russian Artists, Altai Krai Organization of the All-Russia creative public organization; Altai State Technical University (ASTU); and the Institute of Architecture and Design) hope they were lucky enough to achieve the main goal: to reflect the artists’ impressions on culture, nature and people of the East they got to learn; as well as to create an inimitable atmosphere full of colours, lines and stories one can meet only in Asia.

The closing will take place in the Exhibit Hall of the Union of Russian Artists at 3 pm on June 29th (Lenina Av., 111).

«It might be a good chance to examine the exposition for those who haven’t seen the exhibition yet. While those who have already visited it may use the opportunity to purchase works they loved,» the organizers remark.
