Finally, the rarest piece of applied calligraphy has been delivered to Moscow. It is a sculpture by George Beckman, a famous American artist; in its polished steel the light clouds and dizzy banks of the ex-pilot are reflected.
Masterpieces of this illustrious artist are widely known all over the world. Now Russia can be proud of such an invaluable acquisition, thanks to the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy.
The sculpture will be presented at the Second International Exhibition of Calligraphy in Sokolniki that will be held from October 14th to November 14th, 2009.
