We have told many a story about immense interest for calligraphy the International Exhibition of Calligraphy provoked in Russia and other countries where the project participants live and work. It was after the exhibition in St. Petersburg that Pyotr Chobitko (St. Petersburg), Aleksei Chekal (Ukraine), and Achyut Palav (India) opened their Schools of Calligraphy.
And now, only a few months after its opening, the Achyut Palav School of Calligraphy is holding an exhibition that will showcase the works of its students in a unique way. The show will be running on January 23-26, 2010 and, as Mr. Palav put it in his letter, it promises to become a genuine celebration of calligraphy. We heartily salute the outstanding calligrapher and teacher on an important event and wish success to him and his students!
