The Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy that organizes a landmark exhibition named “The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting,” received a greeting letter from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the People’s Republic of China, Andrey Denisov. The note mentions that the organization of such a massive event, featuring more than 400 artworks by renowned Chinese calligraphers and artists, is a great example of cooperation between Russia and China, which is essential for expanding the social foundation of the relationships between the countries. Eventful agenda with workshops, talks and round tables will enable build-up and the all-round enrichment of cultural exchanges, involving the ever-increasing communities of the two countries.
Calligraphy is a kind of music not for the ears, but for the eyes.
