On October 7, 2019, Director of the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy Alexey Shaburov and the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Russia Lee Sok-Bae met at the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.
The meeting was connected to the opening of the exhibition of Korean calligrapher Kim Byung-ki..
At the event, Lee Sok-Bae shared with Alexey Shaburov his idea of holding an exhibition of Korean and Russian calligraphers in Moscow next year in honour of the 30th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea and Russia.
“Six years ago, I attended an exhibition at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy. I was very impressed, and I am very pleased that today I was able to talk to the Director of the museum,” Lee Sok-Bae said in his speech.
