Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Association of Private Museums of Russia discussed the development of classical calligraphy in Russia and in the world on the STEM and Humanities show on Radio Mayak. He mentioned a few countries where calligraphy was actively promoted as a visual art form, but also named countries where this art was almost completely lost. During the discussion, Alexey Yurievich gave some excellent examples of the use of calligraphy in modern-day universities and schools in Russia, in particular in the gymnasium in the Holy Alexievskaya Monastery in Yaroslavl region.
