The solo exhibition featuring abstract calligraphy by eminent artist MA Bukhari concluded on Tuesday at the Louvre Art Gallery (Islamabad, Pakistan).
The artist captured different names of Allah through a series of compositions with a touch of modern cubism using vibrant and glowing colours.
The show entitled ‘Ism-e-Azam’ portrayed the exquisite skills of a landscapist, calligrapher, and a semi-abstract composition artist, who beautifully used flamboyant colours in acrylics and oils to adorn Arabic calligraphy.
His striking brush strokes, which he used on canvas with ease and gusto, transformed his paintings into stunning pieces.
