A visit to the Soap Museum

Thе private museums expedition visited the Soap Museum in the town of Shuya.

The museum was opened in 2014. The presidential public funding program helped greatly in museum’s exposition expansion.

Tatyana Kulvanovskaya - the owner of the Soap Museum studied the history of the region and soap production. More over, she has been collecting different soap items, ingredients for soap production according to ancient recipes and everything, what concerns soap.

It is interesting to notice, that even a piece of soap is depicted on the coat of arms of the town of Shuya.

So, soap production is a historical industry in this region
