On December 22, 2023, a meeting was held at The Museum of Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, attended by Alexey Shaburov, Director of the Association of Private and Folk Museums of Russia and Director of the World Calligraphy Museum; Alexey Belikov, The Museum of Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service; Kirill Barsky, deputy chairman of the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society and ambassador at the special assignment of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation from the Embassy of China in Russia was led by Mr. Feng Litao, cultural counselor and envoy at the Embassy of China in Russia, director of the Chinese Cultural Center; Ms. Wang Rui, deputy director of the Chinese Cultural Center; Mr. Yu Guo, second secretary of the Embassy of China in Russia; Mr. Li Yuzhi, second secretary of the Embassy of China in Russia; Mr. Liu Yang, second secretary of the Embassy of China in Russia; and Ms. Hou Mengxin, embassy attaché.
Alexey Shaburov gave a detailed presentation on the upcoming cultural project, the Friendship Path Festival, which is planned to be held from June 1 to November 30, 2024, in honor of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and China. The festival will take place at The Museum of Special Purpose Garage and is supported by the Russian-Chinese Friendship Society. Alexey Belikov personally conducted a tour of the museum and showed unique historical exhibits and archival footage related to the history of relations between Russia and China, which were exclusively provided for the meeting by the management of The Museum of Special Purpose Garage. Mr. Feng Litao, for his part, emphasized the importance of the festival for the development of humanitarian and cultural ties between our countries and assured support for the project from the Embassy of China in Russia.
