A calligraphy workshop for citizens of Kirov

On December 19th the author of «Vyatka’s Azbuka» exhibition Andrey Drachenkov will hold a calligraphy workshop for kids: with the help of wooden printing characters they will create compositions and ornaments.

From December 11th to December 24th the Vyatka’s Azbuka exhibition will be held in Kirov Puppet Theatre. The exhibition is prepared by the Bukvitsa studio of manuscript books of the local history club MIR and the famous artist Andrey Drachenkov. This project was the prize winner of the All-Russian Forum in Sochi and participated in numerous international exhibitions. Its aim is to «revive the written script and other popular traditions of the Vyatka region».

And on December 19th at 12:30 Drachenkov will hold a calligraphy workshop where small Kirov citizens will learn to create beautiful ornaments with the help of wooden printing characters.
