A 63-year-old man without arms writes calligraphy to make living

Despite losing both his arms and one of his legs in a childhood accident, Egyptian Ahmed Hakim is a talented calligraphy artist. The 63-year-old was inspired to take up the ancient writing technique at school. Hakim started work by picking up odd jobs such as painting signs for shops. He now works at Al Jomhoreya, an Egyptian newspaper, where he used to design advertisements when they were drawn by hand. Now technology has taken over his role and Hakim supervises that process.
