In Moscow, the "Soutache China" contest of original jewelry was held in order to support China in the fight against the epidemic

Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science, Lyubov Dukhanina, took part in the awards ceremony for the winners of the "Soutache China" original jewelry contest.

The international online report (Correspondent Li Junxiang) stated: on the thirteenth of March, the World Calligraphy Museum in Sokolniki Park in Moscow hosted the "Soutache China" original jewelry contest, with the aim to demonstrate the unique view of Russian designers on Chinese culture, expressed in the form of art, as well as to support the Chinese government and Chinese people in the fight against the new coronavirus epidemic.

There were hundreds of works from Moscow, Kazan, Irkutsk, Sochi, and other cities throughout Russia in the contest. After the works were selected by an expert group, twenty of them, created by five designers, reached the final. These ornaments were made from silk and other materials and contained many Chinese elements that demonstrated the understanding and love of Russian designers for Chinese culture.
