The 3rd International Exhibition of Calligraphy to be held in Velikiy Novgorod from September 10-12, 2010 is expected to gather a record-breaking audience.
Denis Tsukanov, the project’s press secretary said Sergei Mitin, Governor of Veliky Novgorod wholly approved the idea of holding the exhibition at Yaroslav’s Court. This idea was put forward by the project’s director Alexey Shaburov together with the proposal for Mr. Mitin to head the Organizing Committee.
Sergei Mitin also noted that this exhibition would become the city’s event of the year. The main exposition will be installed in the unique 1,200 sq.m. mobile pavilion. The organizers state this pavilion will be erected specially for the event. We expect a rich business program, live performances of famous calligraphers and a trade fair.
