Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui attends presentation of The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting: One Belt – One Road exhibition

On December 14, 2018, The Great Chinese Calligraphy and Painting: One Belt – One Road exhibition was presented at the Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy located in Sokolniki Park. The presentation was hosted by Alexey Shaburov, the director of the museum. The guests of honor included Chinese Ambassador to Russia Li Hui; Commissioner under the President of the Russian Federation for the Protection of the Rights of Entrepreneurs, Chairman of the Russian Part of the China-Russia Friendship Committee for Peace and Development Boris Titov; Member of the State Duma, Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Education and Science Lyubov Dukhanina; President of the Chinese Sharp-Pointed Nib Association, Deputy Director of the Kaiming Calligraphy and Painting Academy under the China Association for Promoting Democracy Zhang Huaqing; Vice Chairman of the Heilongjiang Calligraphers Association, Head of the Academy of Calligraphy and Painting of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Heilongjiang Provincial Committee Zhao Xueli; Chair of the Board of the Worldwide Club of St. Petersburgers Valentina Orlova. The event was attended by about 100 guests, including employees of the Ministries of Culture and Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Russian and Chinese media representatives, and calligraphers.
