Biography

Alexander Boyarsky was born on January 1, 1970, in Kemerovo. In 1988 he graduated from the Open People's University of Fine Arts, specializing in Easel Painting. He works as an artist, designer and calligrapher, and also manages a calligraphy studio in Novosibirsk.

Boyarsky is the author of the School of Historical Calligraphy and the Experimental Calligraphy projects.

Previously he had a number of personal exhibitions, including “Calligraphy Made Easy” in Novosibirsk science campus in the Centre for Science, “Once It’s In Written” in the State Open Research Library, and “Exposed Calligraphy” in Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Irkutsk and Kazan.
