Biography
He was born in 1956 in the town of Oktyabrsky, Republic of Bashkortostan. In 1979 he graduated from the Ufa Art College. He is an Artist, graphic designer, artist of assemblage and installation. Vasil has also been an Organizer and participant of performances, author and supervisor of numerous regional and international art projects. He is a Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1990 and anHonoured Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan. Vasil is the current Head of the Genghis-khan art association since 1992 and Director of the Nail’ Latfullin Museum of Contemporary Art of Bashkortostan. He lives in Ufa, works in Moscow and Ufa.
