Calligraphy
Calligraphy is a great art, the art of depicting a word.
This is both a drawing and a letter. Calligraphy brings real aesthetic enjoyment, be it a greeting inscription or children’s soul-stirring inscription of “mommy”. Let’s take an example of a postcard. Most postcards cannot do without a beautiful greeting inscription. And we can observe whole semantic inscriptions and drawings being derived from a beautiful calligraphic inscription. We can observe flowers, hearts, anniversary figures appearing from letters. In this sense, calligraphy is not just art but a multi-purpose art, which delivers not only aesthetic enjoyment but also bringing a certain sense.
Calligraphy art will live forever —so long as letters exist and it is necessary to write, even on the computer. Paper, brushes and pens will reach back. Nothing can be done with progress. But even now calligraphy can be done in a digital form. New directions of digital calligraphy appear. The method changes but calligraphy remains. The striving for the beauty remains. Perhaps, this is the greatness of calligraphy. To bring the beauty always…
