Asylbek Urynbasarov. Workshop: Arabic calligraphy

Asylbek Urynbasarov (Almaty, Kazakhstan) is a new member of our project. Teacher of Arabic and calligraphy, he used to research Islamic studies in Nur-Mubarak Egyptian University of Islamic Culture. His track record features numerous paintings in Kazakhstan mosques, including Almaty. At the event on Saturday, September 9, he will hold an Arabic calligraphy workshop to tell about its history and development, Arabic writing styles and its use. The workshop is suited for anyone interested in the Arabic culture.
