Biography

Born in Kislovodsk, Stavropol region, Russia on February 17, 1984.
Education: artist-teacher of decorative and applied art; higher education: Stieglitz St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry, graphic artist. Teacher of calligraphy: Petr Chobitko.

Exhibitions and master classes on calligraphy:

  • December 2004 — the Winter Games calligraphy contest, Academy of Printing Art, Moscow
  • March 2005 — Nadezhda 3 exhibition of young masters, St. Petersburg Union of Artists
  • June 2005 — the Font exhibition, St. Petersburg Union of Artists
  • Summer 2006 — the 3rd International Graphic Biennale, St. Petersburg
  • May 2007 — the Image and Letter exhibition of calligraphy at  St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry and St. Petersburg Union of Artists
  • Every three months in 2007 — project of the Orienteer exhibition, St. Petersburg
  • November 2007 — exhibition marking the 50th anniversary of St. Petersburg State Academy of Art and Industry graphic workshops
  • March 2008 — exhibition of young artists Nadezhda 6, St. Petersburg Union of Artists

  • Master classes at children’s art schools on every school vacation at the cities of the Caucasian Mineral waters

Teaching activity:

  • Summer 2005-2006 course “Old Church Slavic and art of calligraphy” at Kislovodsk gymnasium for teachers and students
  • Since 2007 individual lessons of calligraphy at own school of calligraphy “Muse for tiny tots” for children aging from 3 to 103  (average age of students now —  8-28)
  • Since 2008 calligraphy studies for the youths at the Aurora club, St. Petersburg

Author of the course “Evident development of human abilities through calligraphy” (1999-2007).

She participated in art exhibitions, biennale and master classes in St. Petersburg and cities of the Caucasian Mineral Waters. Her works are in private collections in the USA, Ukraine, Poland, and Russia.
