Calligraphic Congratulations on the Great Patriotic War Victory Day
Congratulations to the veterans and their ancestors on the Great Victory Day from Nikolai Makarov and Vsevolod Sventokhovsky, participants of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy .
The artists use three colours in their works:
Red — the colour of blood, fire, war, and at the same time — the colour of life and love;
Black — the colour of death and mourning;
White — the colour of dream, purity, truth, peace and serenity.
These are the webs of life of the people who had stood up to protect their Motherland, dreaming about peace, life, and love; of those who had went through the fires of war and passed their lifeforce, love, and dream onto us, their offspring.
May the memory of the fallen live forever. Our obeisance to the dead and best wishes to the living.
