Sokolniki Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in the capital, a unique complex of natural and national culture, a monument of park art. It was named after tsars’ and grand dukes’ falconries (falcon in Russian is ‘sokol’) that were held ages ago at this location, in the thick forest.
Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Centre is located near the centre of Moscow, in close proximity to main roads and the metro station of the same name to enable convenient access for visitors. The area of over 27,000 sq. m. hosts 10 exhibit halls of international standards.
