Russia, Great Britain, France, and Canada gathered together in the name of art to crash all the barriers with a visual language understood by all.
From September, 3 to October, 31 the Art Around the Globe exhibition took its place at Al Badia Golf-club at Dubai; there were presented works of artists and calligraphers characterized by special liveliness in perception of religions and cultures from all around the world. Valentina Kozhevina (Russia), Corine Pagny (France), Sharan Dass (Great Britain), and Cynthia “Reta” Richards (Canada), participants of International Exhibition of Calligraphy, demonstrated their skill.
Here is how Valentina Kozhevina described this exhibition, “Four women, four Graces, four artists from different countries were presented at this exhibition. And numerous multinational audience was adopting all this multicultural art with enthusiasm – the atmosphere of the event at one of the best golf-clubs in the world was very suggestive”.
Of course, this exhibition has already ended but here is one more piece of good news – on November, 15 in St. Petersburg (Russia) Valentina Kozhevina will be hosting her 10 Years of Arabic Calligraphy jubilee exhibition – you will definitely find it interesting even if you are not a professional in calligraphy but just an appreciator of Eastern culture.
