Viktor Mikhailovich Vasnetsov

Outstanding Russian artist, master of historical and folk paintings. He started exhibit his paintings in 1869, first in expositions of the Academy of Arts, then – in the Peredvizhniki exhibitions. In 1893 he became a full member of the Academy of Arts, after 1905 he joined the Union of Russian People. Brother of artist A.M. Vasnetsov.

Ilya Yefimovich Repin

Alexander Andreyevich Ivanov
(1806—1858)
Russian artist, master of historical painting, representative of academism. Author of grandiose canvas The Appearance of Christ before the People which he painted for 20 years. Works of the painter are exhibited in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow and Russian Museum in St. Petersburg.
