The exposition will feature historical samples of handwritten texts dated to different ages, as well as calligraphy and writing utensils. Visitors will be offered to examine the amazing embroidery and calligraphic engraving on household items. For those who are not yet familiar with the art of calligraphy, the organizers have prepared educational lectures, lessons and even master-classes.
The first handwritten copy of the Constitution of the Russian Federation is a well-deserved centerpiece of the exhibition. This unique edition is prepared by the National Union of Calligraphers in collaboration with the Rare Books from St.-Petersburg Publishing House.
The exhibition will also include unique artworks executed by top-flight calligraphers from Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Germany, France, Israel, Syria, the USA, Japan, China and other countries.
