We welcome new participants of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy

Only one week remains until the Grand Opening. However, we keep on recruiting new participants.

Today we would like to bring to your attention the works of art of three more illustrious artists: Samvel Vanoyan, Vera Yevstafyeva and Joachim Propfe.

Samvel Vanoyan is an Armenian artist and designer who thinks that calligraphy can render “the most delicate and unusual” aesthetic ideas.

Vera Yevstafyeva is a font designer, fellow of the ATypI International Typographic Association. “Calligraphy is not only a refined art and a tool, but also a good training programme for a type designer, providing clear suggestion for harmonious solution of form,”she says.

Joachim Propfe is a calligrapher specializing in application of calligraphy in interior design. He considers calligraphy to be a fusion of two different art forms, literature and fine arts. He believes that the composition of the image is the artistic goal of calligraphy.
