The Task Force of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy in St. Petersburg
On August 7th, the team of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy held a meeting with Yevgeny Begletsov, the Сhamber Сhorus Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Smolny Cathedral at the Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture of St. Petersburg.
All preliminary technicalities of the upcoming opening ceremony of the exhibition, as well as the exposition layout and working hours of the International Exhibition of Calligraphy were discussed in a friendly atmosphere. Besides, participants of the meeting also touched upon the recent opening of Russia’s first Contemporary Museum of Calligraphy, an event, which generated considerable public interest not only in Moscow and St. Petersburg but also all over the country.
