On July 14, the German company Lernstift presented a working prototype of a pen that recognizes spelling mistakes and also helps to write beautifully. It looks practically like an ordinary ballpoint pen, but has two functions: the orthographic mode and the calligraphic mode, that recognize the flaws in the form or legibility, which is very useful for children who learn to write. The pen vibrates when you make a mistake.
The pen is equipped with a mini-computer and a motion sensor, processor, memory and Wi-Fi. Thanks to built-in Wi-Fi, the Lernstift can connect to other devices with the Internet connection.
The pen is aimed at children aged 5 to 8 years and those who learn to write of want to improve their skills in writing. Initially, the digital pen will be able to correct only two languages, English and German. It is planned to add more languages, including Russian, Spanish, French and Italian.
